Terms & Conditions
These terms set out the agreement between you and Bestari Tech when you enrol in one of our courses or use our website. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Bestari Tech ("we", "us", "our") and anyone who enrols in a course or uses our website at bestarite.pro ("you"). By completing enrolment or using our website, you agree to these terms.
Bestari Tech is based at Level 14, Menara Maxis, KLCC, 50088 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You may reach us at [email protected] or by telephone at +60 16-385 7294.
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in effect at the time of your enrolment are the ones that apply to your course. We will notify you of material changes by email.
2. Enrolment
Our courses run in structured intakes. Enrolment is confirmed once you have completed the enrolment process and your payment has been received in full. We will send you a written confirmation by email.
Each course has a stated start date and duration. We will provide you with full course details — including schedule, materials, and access instructions — before the start date.
We offer three courses:
- Studio Foundations — RM 480 for six weeks of structured study.
- Studio Practice Course — RM 1,140 for twelve weeks of project-based learning with live sessions.
- Long-form Studio Programme — RM 1,950 for a twenty-week programme including data engineering, model design, and final portfolio review.
All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to decline an enrolment at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be refunded in full.
3. Payment
Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment unless we have agreed a different arrangement in writing. Enrolment is not confirmed until payment has been received.
We accept payment via the methods listed on our enrolment page. Payment processing is handled by our payment partner; their terms apply to the transaction itself. We do not store your card details.
If a payment fails or is returned, your enrolment may be suspended until the matter is resolved. We will contact you promptly if this occurs.
4. Cancellation and refunds
We understand that circumstances change. The following terms apply to cancellations made by students:
| Notice period | Refund |
|---|---|
| More than 14 days before course start | Full refund |
| 7 to 14 days before course start | 50% refund |
| Less than 7 days before course start | No refund; credit note available |
| After course start | No refund; see Section 5 |
To cancel, please write to us at [email protected]. Your cancellation is effective from the date we acknowledge it in writing. Refunds, where applicable, are processed within ten business days.
A credit note issued in lieu of a refund is valid for twelve months and may be applied to any future intake at Bestari Tech.
5. Deferral and transfer
If you are unable to begin a course on the scheduled start date, you may request a deferral to the next available intake. Deferrals are available up to seven days before the course start date and are subject to availability. One deferral per enrolment is permitted.
Enrolments are personal and may not be transferred to another individual. If exceptional circumstances arise after a course has begun, please contact us to discuss your situation. We will try to find a reasonable arrangement on a case-by-case basis.
6. Course delivery and changes
We deliver our courses online, through a combination of written materials, submitted project work, live sessions (where applicable), and written feedback from a teacher. Full details are provided before each intake opens.
We may occasionally need to adjust course content, schedules, or teacher assignments to maintain the quality of the programme. Where a change is significant, we will notify you in advance and explain the reason.
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an intake before it begins — for example, due to insufficient enrolments or an unforeseen circumstance — we will offer you a full refund or a place in the next available intake, at your choice.
Access to course materials is provided for the duration of the course and for thirty days following its end. After this period, we cannot guarantee continued access.
7. Student conduct
We ask all students to engage with the course and with their teachers and fellow students in a manner that is respectful, honest, and constructive. The studio format depends on trust — trust that submitted work reflects your own thinking, and that feedback is given and received in good faith.
Work submitted for assessment must be your own. You may discuss ideas with others, and you may use publicly available tools and libraries in your projects — but the thinking, the structure, and the writing must be yours. Where you draw on sources, please acknowledge them.
We may suspend or terminate an enrolment without refund in cases of serious misconduct, repeated submission of work that is not the student's own, or behaviour that disrupts the learning environment for other students.
8. Intellectual property
All course materials — including written guides, exercises, project briefs, and feedback templates — are the intellectual property of Bestari Tech. You may use them for your own learning but may not reproduce, distribute, or sell them without our written permission.
The work you produce during a course remains yours. We may ask for your permission to use anonymised or attributed examples of student work in course materials, on our website, or in communications about our programmes. We will always ask before doing so.
9. Limitation of liability
We work carefully to provide high-quality teaching and well-structured course materials. However, we cannot accept responsibility for outcomes that depend on factors outside our control, including how you apply what you learn or decisions you make based on your studies.
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you in connection with any course shall not exceed the amount you paid for that course.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
If you have a concern or complaint, please contact us first at [email protected]. We will try to resolve matters directly and in good faith.
